Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today.
Kamal Haasan sought permission from
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to organise the
premiere of his upcoming Telugu film “Cheekati Rajyam”.
“I went to seek his permission to have the premiere of my film in Vijayawada. I also invited him to watch our film with the audience. He kindly agreed,” said Kamal Haasan
Kamal Haasan also revealed that he plans to have two premieres one each in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the same day, and also confirmed his presence. The show timings will have a six-hour gap facilitating travel for the stars.
The Tamil version 'Thoongavanam' which was released worldwide,few days back as a Diwali treat for kamal fans is receiving good response from film lovers and critics also appreciating the movie for its fresh look.
The Gripping thriller was directed by Rajesh M. Selva. It stars Prakash Raj, Trisha Krishnan, Sampath Raj, Kishore, Asha Shart along with Ulaganayagan.
Gibran's music and Sanu Vergheese's cinematography, Kunal Rajan's sound design were main highlights of the movie.
